Relaunching My Online Store – A Fresh Chapter of Flowers, Family & Fine Art

Well… here we are — my very first blog post ever! I’ve been meaning to write one of these for years, but between art, kids, and farm life, it always landed on that mysterious to-do list category called “later.” If you know, you know.

After running my art business since 2019 and completing over 700 orders, I decided it was time for a change. The past year has been a bit of a whirlwind — I moved out of my little shop studio in Hobart city, packed up my walls of prints, and took the big step of going completely online. Around the same time, our family also moved house to our farm in Oyster Cove, Tasmania, where life now includes a mix of art, cattle, and the occasional chaos of running an Australia-wide tourism business alongside everything else.

Taking a year off from selling online gave me time to rethink how I wanted my art business to work — and, truthfully, how to fit it around family and farm life without losing my creative spark. The biggest change? I now have a professional Australian framer who handles all the printing and framing (a total game-changer!). Every piece is Australian made and locally framed, then shipped directly to customers across the country. No more late nights bubble-wrapping frames at the kitchen table — my back and my sanity are very thankful.

And now, the exciting part — my new collection of fine art prints is live! These pieces are inspired by the camellias and magnolias from my own garden, captured in bright, joyful colours that instantly lift a room. I’ve always believed that inspirational fine art doesn’t need to be out of reach — it should be affordable original artwork that feels personal and sparks joy every time you see it.

Whether you’re looking for home décor ideas in Australia, or want professionally framed, inspired wall art that supports local makers, my prints are created to help you bring a touch of nature and warmth into your home. I love knowing that something grown in my garden in Tasmania might end up brightening a wall in a home on the other side of the country — there’s just something beautiful about that connection.

So, here’s to fresh starts, colourful blooms, and finally finding time to write that first blog post! If you’d like to see what I’ve been working on, I’d love for you to explore my newly refreshed website.
